You may have heard expressions such as “the rough seas of society” or “the rough seas of life.” The role of the Center for General Education, as we see it, is to support you in developing the knowledge and skills needed to navigate these rough seas and thrive in an increasingly uncertain age.
To prepare for setting sail toward your goals, you will need ICT skills, language proficiency, and human skills, along with support for career development that encourages you to see your life as something you actively shape. In addition, a broad base of knowledge across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences will be essential.
