(1) University fees University fees include the matriculation fee, tuition, facility and equipment fees, and training fees. Fee type Matriculation fee (1st year only) Tuition fee Facility and equipment fees Total The university fees listed above apply to students who matriculated in the 2024 academic year; for students matriculated in the 2023 academic year or earlier, the university fees set at the time of matriculation will continue to apply. (2) Payment methods Payment of university fees while enrolled in the University must be made by bank transfer or Flywire to the University designated account by the deadline using the designated bank transfer form or invoice. For Japanese students with an address in Japan, a notice of payment of university fees (enclosed with bank transfer form) is mailed to their guarantor; for international students, an invoice is sent to their university email address. In principle, the payment invoices will be sent in mid-January of the previous academic year for spring semester, and mid-June for the fall semester. Once paid, university fees are not refundable. (3) Installment payments University fees are paid as a lump sum; however, it is also possible to divide the payment by semester, except for the matriculation fee. Spring semester Fall semester (4) Payment deferment If students are unable to pay the university fees by the payment deadline due to unforeseen circumstances, they must be approved for a payment deferment by submitting the University Fees Payment Deferment Form to the iCLA Administrative Office. The maximum time period for payment deferment is listed below.
