In order to register for 20 credits or more for 1st year students and 22 credits or more for 2nd to 4th year students in a semester, students must apply and be approved for a "Course Overload". If a “Course Overload” application is not submitted or is rejected, a portion of the student’s registered courses will be cancelled. Even if a “Course Overload” is approved for a semester, the maximum number of credits students can take per year level remains the same. See the iCLA Navi for the “Course Overload” procedures. (C)Re-registering in coursesWhile students cannot re-register for courses in which they earned credit, they can re-register for courses in which they received an "F", "NP" or "W" grade. However, the course may not be available from the following semester onwards. (D)Liberal Arts courses available to EAE studentsStudents may take ‘Liberal Arts Preparation’, ‘Health and Physical Education’, and “Workshop” courses while enrolled in EAE. ③Course registrationCourse registration is a procedure in which students register for courses, and is only available during a designated period each semester. In order to earn the credits required for graduation, students must make their own semester course timetable and register for courses on UNIPA. If registration is not done correctly, students will not be able to earn credits even if they attend class, so it is students’ responsibility to make sure that course registration is done properly. ④Important notes on course registration(A)Registration periodFailure to register for courses during the designated registration period without a valid reason willresult in DismissalCourses cannot be registered, changed, deleted, or withdrawn outside the designated periodsIf a student withdraws from a course during the Course Withdrawal Period, a "W" will appear on theirtranscript(B)Restrictions on course registrationStudents cannot register for multiple courses in the same timeslotIf the maximum number of students that can enroll in a course is set, students are, in principle,registered on a first-come, first-served basisIf a course has multiple sections and students are assigned to a section, they must take that sectionThere are several courses that students cannot register by themselves; these courses will beregistered by the iCLA Administrative Office on behalf of the students29
