Announcement of the results of the “Space and Me” postcard contest
We received 545 entries this time. Thank you very much for the many entries. After a rigorous screening process, the following winners were selected. In addition, all 545 works will be exhibited together with “The Story of Gagarin,” a special exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the world’s first manned space flight. A total of 545 works will be on display, so we hope you will join us for the special exhibition and see the dynamic works of children with their creative ideas.

“Space and Me” Picture Postcard Contest
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the world’s first manned space flight by Yurii Gagarin, and with the cooperation of the Russian Embassy in Japan and Kofu City, YGU International Exchange Center will hold a photo exhibition of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. We hope that this contest will be a good opportunity for children to dream about space.
We look forward to receiving many entries.

【How to apply】: Draw on the communication side of the postcard. The work must be your own work and unpublished.
【Eligibility】: Infants and elementary school students who live in Kofu City
【Application deadline】: May 31, 2021 (Monday), by postmark
【Announcement of judging】: June 16 (Mon.) – 25 (Fri.), 2021 (only winners will be notified)
The award ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 (scheduled for 2:00 p.m.) and the prize will be presented by the Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Japan.
