Announcement of the “World Ethnic Costume Video Contest
International Exchange Center would like to introduce the “World Ethnic Costume Video Contest” to welcome the new students of the 2021 academic year and to give them a sense of the global atmosphere of Yamanashi Gakuin University. Vote for your favorite ethnic costume from among the entries created by international students at the university, and get a wonderful present. Not only new students but also current students can vote. Everyone is encouraged to vote.
Voting period: April 3 (Sat.) – May 31 (Mon.), 23:00

Call for Entries for the “Ethnic Costume Video Contest”
Dear International Students,
Hello, this is International Exchange Center.
YGU currently accepts international students from 39 countries and regions around the world, we are planning a variety of events to encourage Japanese students to become more interested in the world.
This year’s “Ethnic Costume Video Contest” is one such event. We would like to invite all international students to make a video introducing the traditional costumes of their home countries.
The entrants will receive an Amazon card (worth 2,000 yen) to support their video production.

② Only one entry per person is allowed.
③ International Exchange Center retains all rights to the submitted work.

The entries will be posted on the International Exchange Center’s YouTube page, and students will vote to determine the winners.
1st place: 1 winner, Amazon card worth 10,000 yen
2nd place: 1 winner, Amazon card worth 5,000 yen
3rd place: 1 winner, Amazon card worth 3,000 yen
